Blood Bank Society, Rajasthan has been formed and registered under registrar societies, Jaipur vide registration No.331/JP/2012-2013.
The main objectives of the society are:
- To work for the People with sole motto of Blood For All.
- To improve and strengthen the quality transfusion medicine services in the state.
- To suggest the regulatory bodies regarding the better working of the blood banks in the state.
- To help the government to implement their guidelines and suggestions to the member blood banks.
- To act as a platform to discuss the common problems of any member blood bank in general and any individual problem in particular with the regulatory bodies and in general.
- To develop the academic atmosphere for the working human resource in the blood banks.
- To work for the awareness of Voluntary Blood Donation.
- To meet the various requirements of Blood Banks for various legal and practical difficulties.
- Society will also establish various awards in field of voluntary blood donation and standard blood transfusion services.
